Day 150: Early Word (7:35a)
Another sunny day is at the forefront. We did have some freezing overnight temps that firmed things up, which will make for some excellent groomers this morning, and preserve our snowpack hopefully into the weekend of May 11+12th. As the day goes on and the temps move into the high 40's, the snow will quickly soften up into spring like conditions once again. We'll see a high of around 53 degrees today and things get even warmer as we slide into the weekend for our Tailgate Party tomorrow.
We've got The Rusch Park back open and refreshed, the Tram still running, several crispy groomers, and even a few glades skiing well into April. Grab your lift tickets online HERE to save money and time here in the late season at Jay.
We will run 7/9 lifts today. The Metro, Taxi, and both moving carpets at 8:30a. The Tram, Bonnie, and Jet at 9a.
OPERATIONS UPDATES:
- This is the final full week of operations for the season. After this Sunday, April 28th, lifts will close until the following weekend, May 4-5th. Depending on weather, we may open on Friday the 3rd.
- We plan to keep the party going on the weekend of May 11+12, but we'll have to see how our terrain holds up until then.
- The Village and The Flyer are closed for the season. All other lifts will continue to operate, weather permitting, until further notice.
- The Rusch Park is open today, and will continue to operate through Sunday before it closes for the season.

UPHILL TRAVEL POLICY: Both Uphill Travel Routes are open. An important piece to note in our policy, Uphill Travel is only recommended during operating hours. Snowmakers and Groomers work through the night and early hours of the morning. The last thing our grooming staff needs to worry about is seeing you through a cloud of snow. It's their hill at night and in the early morning hours. Please be respectful and stay off of it during their time. Check out our Uphill Travel Policy before you head up.
WATCH THIS SPACE FOR UPDATES: In every case, the first report of the day is a forecast of what we're seeing at that moment in time. Lift and trail counts will adjust as needed based on updates from Ski Patrol and changes in weather and conditions. Trail ratings are subject to change due to weather and conditions.
*As always, stay tuned to this page for more updates. See you out there.
